Frontlines addresses the pressing needs of children and youth of Weston and surrounding communities.
We provide programs that address the whole child.
Through homework clubs, culinary programs, catering services and much more, we’re giving Weston youth the skills to succeed.
We are always there for Weston youth. From municipal to local, we find new opportunities using grassroots techniques.

Frontlines opened its doors to children and youth in Weston, offering them a safe place to hang out away from the streets. The program began as a drop-in centre that focused primarily on music. Since then, Frontlines has grown by offering a variety of programs to hundreds of children and youth from Weston and surrounding neighborhoods.
In 1986, Frontlines opened its doors at Weston and Wilby.
From 1985 until 2000 Frontlines was staffed and run by Youth for Christ. After which the Weston Baptist church took over running the church.
Frontlines holds its very first annual general meeting for the director, founders, partners, and donors.
The first Director and Founder of the original community centre was Tim Huff. He saw a need and approached the Weston Park Baptist Church and Youth For Christ (Youth Unlimited Toronto) to partner in establishing the drop-in centre.
The church bought 1844 Weston Road and moved Frontlines there from its location at Weston and Wilby.
It’s official! Weston Frontlines Center was incorporated in June.
New charitable number was effective March of this year, separate from the church. This helped Frontlines grow by offering a variety of programs to hundreds of children and youth from Weston and surrounding neighborhoods.
Frontlines is shared with the Weston Area Emergency Support (WAES) food bank which provides assistance for many of the families that participate in our programs. The property is owned by the Weston Park Baptist Church. We now have a satellite location at 1765 Weston Road.
